• Made in memory of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff's father, who died in the summer of 1914.
• Striking depiction of the grief of his sister Gertrud and his friend Rosa Schapire.

In good condition. Isolated small faint brown spots and superficially soiled spots in the margins. Margins overall slightly creased and with handling marks. Edges with isolated small creases and slightly wavy due to the technique. Lower right edge with tiny small paper tears.
