Schapire R 19. Signed and inscribed with the work number "159". On firm copper plate printing paper. 21.5 x 15 cm (8.4 x 5.9 in). Sheet: 42 x 33 cm (16,5 x 13 in).
Printed by Alfred Ruckenbrod, Berlin. [CH].
• Fine burred print with even plate tone.
• To date only two other copies have been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice).
• Another copy is part of the collection of the Brücke Museum, Berlin.
• As of 1911, Schmidt-Rottluff paid increasing attention to he female nude.
