Brush in litho-India Ink and litho chalk.
Lower left inscribed "für Cassoubuch I". 36.8 x 26.7 cm (14.4 x 10.5 in), the full sheet.
The drawing references the lithograph of the same name (Karsch 324) [EH].

• Otto Dix's work is characterized by the themes of Eros and Thanatos to some extent.
• The drawing was used as a model for the lithograph of the same name
• On permanent loan to the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen for many yearsn

Good overall impression. The sheet is somewhat wavy in places along the edges. With a horizontal crease in the lower part of the image. Two larger paper blemishes on Hecate's neck and in left and right along her hair, as the paper is somewhat skinned.
